Description

Evergreen tree, up to 28 m tall. Leaves opposite or subopposite, elliptic, oblong or ovate, puberulous, glabrescent, membranous, base rounded or slightly cordate, mostly oblique, apex acute to acuminate, margin entire. Inflorescence a terminal cyme. Flowers bisexual, funnel shaped. Fruit cylindrical to clavate, 8‐12 mm. long, ribbed; ribs with soft viscid, prickle-like glandular hairs.
